HW 50 - First Third of Care-of-the-Dead Book Post

I read 43 pages of the book "mortician diaries" and precis writing helped me organize and memorize all significant moments in the book. When I started read the book, I saw a true childhood life story of the main character. Beginnig was a pretty intersting for me and also I got some quotes from there which I thinks will be important in the final summary of the book. This book like a stairs, everything happening step by step to the highest point. Taking the notes during the reading helps not loose the significant details which is very  useful in our summary.
I choosed some quothes which I enjoyed. First one was in the begining." When I was nine years old, I had a tortoiseshellcat named Tobby who brought many lessons into my life" I think this quote is very true because almost everybody in their chilhood had somebody or something, It can be a pet or significant thing but the role of this is only one: to bring lessons in your life. These lessons could totaly change your life in good way.
Second quote "My two youngest children do not know what it is like to not have her.It is possible to have her embalmed, placed in a casket, and laid to rest in a vault?"
This quote shows that children don't really understand what does the funeral and death means. Their mind is very clean and these things seems confusing for them and unreall.
I want to continue reading of that book because it shows to me emotions of the people whos friends,pets or family members been affected by the death. The Death still the most terrible thing!!!!!!!

HW 48 - Family Perspectives on the Care of the Dead

I interviewed some older members of my family and I really enjoyed what they sad about the Death. One of the sad "Death of the person you knew before it always very hard but life is not ends and what happend that happened and you should continue to live and look forward" I thinks it means that life is life and you never know what could happen to you or somebody else,somebody is not ready to it and in the future it will be harder to accept this terrible thing.My Grand Mother sad " We should never forget who we knew and ho is not with us rightnow and everything will be okay" I agree with her but somebody could say that it will be easier to forget because if you keep thinkig about the person who is not with us anymore, you always will be sad and trying to think about the ways in which you could save this person. For me, Death still the most terrible thing in the life and I am sure a lot of the people thinks in the same way and this is the most part of the people in the world who scared about the death and don't want to discuss this topic at all because everyone feels differently by their own life experience when this topic has been touched.

HW 47 - Peer Perspectives on the Care of the Dead

For everyone a meaningful of the death is different. For some people it just an end of their life but some people thinks that death is not the end and something waiting for us after death but we will never no what is it till we dead. I asked some people how they feel about the death and I got very different opinions about this.One person said that he is really scared about the end of his life and he don't want to die at all and says life is good. I agree with him. He also said that this is not good to discuss the death when you don't really want to think about it because this thoughts will follow you for a while and you could be stressed. Another person I asked said that this is a life and what will happen, we will not able to change and we should clearly understand it. It seems that he is very serious person and doesn't scared. Next person I asked told his opinion like I have that the most scariest part of the death is that you will loose important persons in your life and you will never see them again. I think a lot of the people also thinks in this way. A death probably still the worst thing in our life which giving us a question-Does life really ends after death or not?.

HW 46 - Initial Thoughts on the Care of the Dead

For me it's a very specific topic because I never discussed it before in the group of people. I think it is a very painful to loose somebody you knew before because in almost each situation it will follow you for a while.In my experience I knew only one person who is died and I met him before. I guess in this new unit we will learn about different stories of other people who got this terrible experience. This will be a new material to learn which we can use in the future and I hope we not going to touch the topics such as: What are you going to do if your parents or any family member dies. I am really looking forward to see my class mate's  reactions and points of view on this discussion because I'm interested in psychology and every thing that is connected to human nature.

I really enjoyed your project because you did pretty well on that. In your project, you included the elements which are very significant and interesting that makes that gives to project an ability to give to reader all information of hte main topic.I think you got a main information about the C-section in US and you discussed a significant problems with that.Also I like that person you spoke with gave you a very useful examples and issue solving about the C-section that is very helpful.Good Job!

Your project is on very high level and I was intersting to read it.You made a professional  discussion about the Birth.You compared all of the information you got from the research to the movie we saw in the class "the business of being born" that makes all of your points of view truly.You discussed about the Birth in hospitals and the Home Birth.You got many evidence about what is difference between those two and which one is better for familiesAlso you included an examples about the worst things in hospital Birth and that all of these issues have to be fixed.Well Done.

Your project touched another issue about pregnancy and birth and this issue called post partum depression. As I understood that issue basicly about the problems which many women gets after the birth.Women gets bad feeling and many other problems with their health. Its very important because its very serious problem and worst thing could happen is Mom will lose care about her child and the hospital should to prevent this problems in women health after the birth because Women have to feel themself comfortable after the Birth of a child.Very nice Willie that you choosed that topic for your project.Good job!
